Duncan Aviation Michigan FBO Facilities Earn IS-BAH Stage II Certification

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that all four of its Fixed Base Operator (FBO) facilities have earned the International Safety for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) Stage II accreditation. The Duncan Aviation FBOs in Battle Creek (BTL) and Kalamazoo (AZO), Michigan, are the most recent to have earned certification; in May 2020, the company’s facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Provo, Utah, earned Stage II certification.

Global 7500 Recently Painted at Duncan Aviation’s Provo Facility

With three full-service MRO locations, 180 paint experts, and 12 aircraft designers, Duncan Aviation paints more than 230 business aircraft every year in a variety of paint schemes from Matterhorn white with one stripe to intricate artistic designs and color-fade illusions. Customers are pleased with the results and most return when they upgrade their aircraft or add to their fleet. So it was no surprise when a Global 5000 customer requested that Duncan Aviation paint his recently delivered Global 7500.

Duncan Aviation Sees Growth in Engine Services

Since 2015, Duncan Aviation’s Turbine Engine Services has gained Honeywell TFE731 Heavy and HTF7000 Series Minor authorizations and brought a 20,000 lb.-thrust-class test cell online. New capabilities, increased efficiencies, and expanded room have been added to support these larger engine and maintenance events.
