Duncan Aviation-Provo Names New Gulfstream Team Leader

Duncan Aviation in Provo, Utah, is pleased to announce that Enrique Marquez has accepted the Gulfstream/Embraer Airframe Team Leader position. Marquez will work closely with his counterparts at the Duncan Aviation facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Battle Creek, Michigan, to develop consistent services and capabilities at the growing Provo facility.

Duncan Aviation Names Kasey Harwick Vice President of Maintenance

Kasey Harwick, who joined the Senior Management Team at Duncan Aviation in July 2017 and has served as Director of Maintenance for the last year, has been named the Vice President of Maintenance at the company’s Battle Creek, Michigan, facility. In his new role, Harwick will continue to manage the airframe shops and oversee the engine and accessory departments in Battle Creek.

After A Little April Fool’s Joke, FAA Reiterates ADS-B Deadline Firm

Duncan Aviation laughed along with most of the rest of the business aviation industry on Sunday when an online industry news resource released information that the deadline for the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) mandate had been extended until 2040. Before the laughter died out, the FAA reiterated that the agency’s deadline will not change, saying, “We have a sense of humor, too, but an April Fool’s joke that the FAA is extending the ADS-B deadline is just that.”
